What makes gum arabic licorice different?

Gum arabic is a natural resin from the acacia tree — and it is precisely this ingredient that gives this licorice its characteristic firm, chewy bite. Unlike regular licorice, no animal gelatin is used here, making the entire collection completely vegan and BIG14 allergen-free. Confectionery Joris has been working with this traditional binding agent for generations, and you can taste it.

The collection

From the powerfully salty Zouts and the sharp Salmiak licorice to the milder Honey licorice and the refreshing Menthol Drop — the flavor palette is broad. The Black coins and Black cents are true classics with a full licorice flavor. The Brown Pector adds organic elderberry syrup to this.

Also definitely worth a try: the Sliced Jujube, truly good full firm licorice, and the Sour sticks (Citros) for those who like a sharp, fresh-sour taste.
